Aster Medcity is a state-of-the-art quaternary care hospital located in Cheranalloor, Kochi, Kerala. The hospital was officially inaugurated on 6 May 2015 by His Excellency, the late President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, although clinical operations commenced in September 2014 following a soft launch. The vision was driven by Dr. Azad Moopen, chairman & founder of Aster DM Healthcare, aiming to create a top-tier global healthcare destination. Its 40-acre waterfront campus houses an 800-bed facility, firmly planting it among the largest & most comprehensive hospitals in South India.
